How AXA Health supports families
Support for the whole family
At AXA Health, we put health first – and we know nothing matters more than your family’s health. That’s why we offer health insurance to three generations of family members – your parents and children, and grandparents and grandchildren too.
Our family plan gives you the reassurance of knowing your family can get fast access to private healthcare.
Here are some of the things we offer to support you and your family with the AXA Health Plan:
Cover you can adapt to fit each member of your family. You can choose different cover for each person on your plan, so you’re only paying for the options you’ve chosen1. For example, you might decide some family members don’t need the Cancer care option, even if you’ve chosen it for yourself.
With our family cover, everyone’s covered on the same plan, so there’s only one payment and one renewal date.
Cover for family members at different addresses. If your teen leaves home to go to university or college, or you want to cover grandparents, they can still be on your membership. So that gives you the reassurance of knowing they’ve got access to an online GP service, or fast access to private healthcare, when they need it.
Appointments made easy. Speak with a GP via video or phone, day or night 365 days a year. Other registered practitioners are also available from 8am to 10pm2.
Support available 24/7. If you have a question or concern, call 0800 003 004 to speak to qualified, experienced nurses day or night with our 24/7 health support line3.
Mental health support too. Chat a worry through confidentially with one of our mental health counsellors on our 24/7 mental health support line – it’s a safe space to speak about how you’re feeling.
Our qualified and experienced team can provide information and signpost to further support4.
Reliable health information on our Staying Healthy hubs. Articles, guides and videos on a variety of important health and wellbeing topics, all created with our health professionals.
